On August 9th, Teen prize-winners went to Barnes & Noble in a limo!

We promised snapshots...here they are:

All set to exit the Library...                                            ...all set to enter Barnes & Noble

Decisions, decisions...  it was a sweet trip.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Summer Reading Program. Have a great September!

Grown-ups, this is for you

Is your group looking for a new title to jump start discusssions?

Do you want to start a book club?

Laurel Public Library has developed self-contained book club kits that can help you on your way: eight copies of a current book club favorite, a short author bio, and thought-provoking questions for group discussion.

Laurel Public Library’s three new titles join the more than seventy book club kits available to your group through the Delaware Library Catalog. To see all the titles available in book club kit formats, search the catalog for book club in a bag or book club in a box under the “series” key.

Call or visit us to find out more. Our library staff will be glad to help!

Don’t have a central place for your group to meet? Would the library work for you? Come in and find out! Laurel Public Library’s second floor is the perfect place to gather for book discussions. We’ll be happy to work with you on what might be the best time for your group.
